Highway Vignette — Slovenia

Slovenia requires an electronic vignette (e-vinjeta) for all motorways and expressways, operated by DARS. The vignette is digital and linked to your license plate — no physical sticker is needed.

Where to Buy

Slovenian e-vinjeta can be purchased online at the official DARS portal, at petrol stations (Petrol, OMV), and at border crossings when entering Slovenia.

The e-vinjeta covers all Slovenian motorways (A1, A2, A3, A4, A5) and expressways operated by DARS. The tolled network spans approximately 625 km. The Karawanken tunnel between Slovenia and Austria has an additional separate toll.

Vehicle Categories

Passenger vehicles and motorcycles each require their own vignette. Motorcycles are classified as category 2A.
